Prices
Prices are F.O.B. Lucan, Ontario and are subject to change without notice.
Taxes and duties
CA customers - PST and GST apply.
US customers - Customs documentation and brokerage fees are paid by the company.
International customers - Purchaser is responsible for customs and import duties, brokerage and documentation fees.
Deposit
A deposit equal to 30% of the total purchase price is required with your order. Official purchase orders from educational institutions are accepted without a deposit. Credit card accepted for deposits on shell purchases. VISA or Master Card
Final Payment
Net on pickup or prior to shipping F.O.B. Lucan, Ontario, Canada.
1.5% interest per month will be charged on overdue accounts.
Shipping costs
Orders that are not picked up by the customer may be shipped by trailer or by a delivery or courier service, using "regular" priority. If you require a higher priority shipment, please note this when entering the delivery instructions.
You are responsible for the cost of shipping. If you are paying for your order by credit card, the shipping costs will be charged to your card. If you are paying by purchase order or check, we will send you notification of the shipping costs.
Delivery Dates
The time from order to delivery depends upon the type of boat ordered and seasonal demand. Average delivery times range between 4 and 12 weeks. When we process your order, we will review our production schedule and provide you with an expected delivery date.

Kaschper Racing Shells offers one and two year purchase plans to Rowing Clubs and High School and College Crews on new boat purchases. for more information. We also may be able to take your older Kaschper shells in trade.

| Delivery Options |
There are three options for taking delivery of your order:
Boat Trailer
Our boat trailers travel to regattas and other events throughout the US and CA during the year.
Commercial Carrier
Delivery can be arranged to almost any location by commercial transport truck or overseas freight. Purchaser is responsible for transportation costs and insurance coverage for boat when shipping is arranged by us.
Personal Pick-up
If you prefer, you can arrange to pick up your order from our facilities in Southwestern Ontario. We are readily accessible from the US via Detroit (approximately 130 miles), Port Huron (62 miles) or Buffalo (130 miles). Most of the driving is on four-lane highways. See our  for directions.
We will provide you with further details about these options when we confirm your order. If you require more information before then, please contact us.
Shipping / Trailering
We utilize all possible venues to secure safe, timely, and cost effective shipment/delivery of boats. Our company associates travel to many regattas during the season with trailers, where we can deliver and pick up boats. Delivery on the way to a regatta is also possible. We can provide enclosed truck shipping of all shells except non-sectioned eights to most locations in the US and many locations in CA. We assist clubs who come to pick up boats in securing other deliveries to help defray travel costs when possible, and we stay in contact with team trailers that travel coast to coast in CA and the US for possible shipping opportunities for repair boats and new boats. | Kaschper Warranty |
Kaschper Racing Shells, Ltd. offers a 5 Year Structural Warranty on all new shells. This warranty applies to all boats built in 2003 or later unless otherwise documented.
The Current Warranty covers the structure of the hull, decks, and unideck against defective workmanship; the riggers, rigger mounts, seats, tracks, and footstretchers from defective workmanship; and all Kaschper parts/components from defective workmanship.
The Warranty does not cover replacement of the following items that accrue normal wear and may need replacement in less than 5 years: Shoes, Erg clogs, oarlocks, seat pads, wearing of tracks, wearing of wheels. Damage due to improper part replacement, improper storage, or negligent care is not covered. Finish damage and any obvious damage to the structure done while stored or in use by crews or while being transported to and from events is not covered.**
**A specific warning against using excessive force in strapping shells down on trailers and boat racks, etc. Marks or other damage on finishes may occur if shells are strapped too tightly or too loosely. Many straps are subject to additional shrinkage in hot climates. Take extra care when boats are loaded during rain. Check for too loose or too tight straps whenever you stop while traveling. Use moderate tension, approximately 20 lbs. pressure to fasten straps. Racing shell paint is a high quality clear coated automotive finish. However, it can be marred when excessive pressure is applied or rubbing occurs for prolonged periods.
Warranty Work will be done by Kaschper Racing Shells in Lucan, Ontario, unless otherwise authorized by the Lucan office. Qualification for Warranty Work will be determined by the company. for further information. |
